From Hong Kong, to Toronto, and now residing in New York, Michael is a photographer with a keen eye for capturing the mood and vibe of a scene. Taking a photojournalistic and street photography approach, Michael uses both digital full frame and digital medium format for his exposures. Primary tools are a Sony A7r III and a Hasselblad 503 CXI with a CFV II 50c digital back.

Photos in this portfolio are from a mix of Michael’s travels around the world, and at home in New York City. The dog that features prominently in some photos is a Shiba Inu called Akira (@akira.shiba).
